A system with two primary cameras

The DJI Air 3 boasts the first dual camera system in the Air series, featuring a 1/1.3" CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1/1.3" CMOS medium camera with 3x zoom in a sleek and compact body. Both cameras have the same sensor size but different focal lengths, resulting in consistent image quality and greater dynamic imaging capabilities.

Complementary camera performance

Thanks to the wide-angle camera, you can better capture the diverse landscape. And the middle telephoto camera achieves a lossless 3x optical zoom for spatial compression that provides a unique perspective on any subject.

48 Mpx photos taken with a dual camera

Both cameras are capable of taking 48 MPx photos full of faithful details and at the same time allow trouble-free adjustments in post-production.

Dual camera with 4K/60 fps resolution and HDR video

The DJI Air 3's two 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors support dual native ISO sensitivity for direct 4K/60fps HDR video output without the need for editing. This means that images from both cameras will have rich colors and natural light transitions, ensuring breathtaking and precise results. Both cameras also support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color modes. 10-bit D-Log M mode helps preserve more detail in highlights and shadows for more flexibility in editing. While the 10-bit HLG mode can offer a higher dynamic range, achieving excellent results without color gradation.

Extended flight with innovative charging

DJI Air 3 allows up to 46 minutes of flight, which is 48% more than the previous generation. This will give you plenty of time to explore, adjust the composition and get the shots you want. The new HUB for battery charging supports an innovative power transfer function. Just press and hold the function button and the remaining power from several batteries will be transferred to the battery with the highest remaining power, giving you a more charged battery in situations where charging options are limited.

Sensing obstacles in all directions

The omnidirectional camera system provides a comprehensive overview of the environment, so DJI Air 3 can detect obstacles in all directions. When detecting obstacles, the DJI Air 3 can use the APAS 5.0 system to perform smoother evasive maneuvers for an overall safer flight. Even complete beginners can now fly with confidence and implement creative ideas with increased safety.

O4 Video Transmission

The new generation of the O4 video transmission system provides the DJI Air 3 with significantly higher transmission performance. It allows a maximum range of 20 km with increased stability and live transmission in maximum quality 1080p/60 fps, which guarantees extremely smooth tracking and operation.

Advanced RTH

During Smart RTH, DJI Air 3 automatically plans an optimized flight path for advanced RTH while maintaining obstacle sensing in all directions to quickly and safely return to the starting point.

Smart functions

FocusTrack

The FocusTrack function easily keeps you or your subject in the center of the frame. The medium telephoto camera with 3x zoom provides unique spatial compression when capturing objects. This improved tracking system, combined with omnidirectional obstacle detection, allows you to take thoughtful and well-planned shots whenever and wherever you need to.

QuickShots

The QuickShots feature allows the Air 3 to perform creative camera movements such as Rocket, Drone, Circle, Helix, Boomerang and Asteroid.

2.7K vertical shooting

DJI Air 3 supports 2.7K vertical shooting with both cameras, so vertical shots are very dynamic when shooting landscapes or objects. Outputting a vertical 2.7K frame directly from the 4:3 CMOS sensor provides clips optimized for smartphone viewing and ready to share on social media without the need for additional editing.

MasterShots

The MasterShots feature allows DJI Air 3 to automatically perform various camera movements, shoot multiple clips and then edit them with music, cuts and effects.

You can also save flight paths so you can repeat the same movement with precision later, opening up the possibility of taking long time-lapse shots that capture transitions, such as day to night or season to season.
